Open the folder on the C drive where you want to put the files from the data disc. Then obviously insert the disc and when auto-play opens, choose “open folder to view the files.”
When that window open, drag (without clicking) from there to the folder on your hard drive where you want to put them and then drop.
If that doesn’t work, the only thing I can think of is that the disc is somehow damaged or the session wasn’t closed out properly when the disc was created.
Use a free Blu-ray Ripper software to ripping Blu-ray disc to PC, and then backup.
AVS comes highly recommended however I cannot pay for it. I need to burn a video for my grandmother’s wake and funeral. I am trying to find free software that won’t put a banner in the middle of the screen or come with other crazy catches like AVS. And no, I do not have Windows DVD Maker.
If it is already a movie, just copy it as data. Take the video and audio out of the main folder and add it as data. My DVD player recognizes it and plays by itself.
